The Law on electronic military notices and the Register of Military Registration. What’s new?

New procedure for sending military notices

  • the military notices will be sent in writing (to the address of registration/actual residence or will be delivered upon receipt to the place of work, education) and duplicated electronically via the Unified Portal of Public and Municipal Services
  • the military e-notices will be considered duly received from the moment of its placement in the Unified Portal of Public and Municipal Services personal account
  • by hand delivery of military notices and via the employer will also remain in force
  • if the military notice will not be received by any of the available options (via the Unified Portal of Public and Municipal Services, by hand, by registered mail), it will be considered duly received after 7 days from the date of its placement in the Register of Military Notices


The Register of Military Registration and Military Notices

  • the Register of Military Registration will contain the personal data of persons subject to military service (the place of residence, Tax ID, information about place of study and work, etc.)
  • the Register of Military Notices will be formed on the basis of the Register of Military Registration
  • it will be possible to get access to the Register of Military Notices via the Unified Portal of Public and Municipal Services or by visiting a Multifunctional Public Services Center


Restrictions

  • a citizen subject to military service after receipt of the notice will not be able to go abroad
  • in case of nonappearance at the Military Enlistment Office within 20 days from the date referred to in the notice, the person will not be entitled to register as self-employed or as an individual entrepreneur, to register real estate and other property transactions, to register a vehicle and drive it, to get loans
